Jet2 to operate summer flights to Innsbruck

Jet2 will launch new summer flights from Birmingham, Bristol and Manchester to Innbruck in Austria next summer.

The airline already operates flights to the Tryolean capital in the winter.

The new flights will operate on Saturdays from Birmingham and Bristol from 28 May to 24 September, and on Wednesdays and Saturdays from Manchester from 25 May to 24 September.

Innsbruck provides easy access to the Alps for hiking, mountain biking, cycling and golf holidays.

The 800-year-old Medieval city, one of the prettiest in the Austria, also provides plenty of sightseeing opportunities.

In total, Jet2 will fly to over 72 sun and city destinations next summer from 10 UK airports.

Other new routes for 2022 include Sicily, Sardinia, Toulouse, Iceland, Tivat (Montenegro) and Athens.
