Jet2 & Jet2holidays put summer 2022 flights and holidays on sale

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have started selling flights and holidays for summer 2022, with discounts of £100 per person available on packages and 10% off flights for early bookers.

They have seats and packages available from 10 UK airports, including flights from Bristol to Alicante, Bodrum and Dubrovnik for the first time.

Jet2 also has three brand new Greek destinations for Scottish holidaymakers from Edinburgh Airport with new flights to Skiathos, Santorini and Preveza.

Its summer destinations include the Canaries, Balearics, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Italy, Cyprus, Croatia and Portugal.

Jet2 hinted it might add more flights and destinations in the next few weeks.

Should I book now or wait for a bargain?

If you already know where and when you want to go, it’s not a bad idea to book early to get exactly the right holiday, especially if you have to travel during the school holidays when demand is high.

Demand is likely to be especially high for summer 2022 as so many people had to cancel their holidays last year and there’s still quite a lot of doubt over whether they’ll get away this year either.

Of course, no-one can say for certain that holidays won’t be disrupted in 2022 either, but one thing I can tell you is that Jet2 has been one of the standout companies for refunds this year.

It has been praised by MoneySavingExpert.com, Which? and my own travel industry publication TravelMole for the way it handled the coronavirus crisis, especially for its policy of refunding customers for cancellations as fast as possible.

If you’re going to book a package with any holiday company, I’d say book with Jet2.
