Meet Strictly Come Dancing stars on two river cruises

Who do you want to dance with, Dame Darcey Bussell or Anton du Beke?

OK Twinkle Toes, do you fancy dancing down the Danube with former Royal Ballet principal and Strictly Come Dancing judge Darcey Bussell, or doing the rumba down the Rhone with Strictly stars Anton du Beke and Erin Boag?

Dame Darcey will join guests on Scenic Cruises eight-day Dance Down the Danube cruise, departing on April 8, which costs from £3,240 per person.

Starting in the Bavarian city of Nuremberg, the itinerary will take you through Regensburg, Linz and Passau with the chance to visit the medieval Czech city of Cesky Krumlov or Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart, before cruising onto Vienna where Darcey will host a private evening concert at the opulent Palais Liechtenstein with performances of classical ballet and Viennese waltz.

Darcey will then accompany you down the river to Budapest, where guests will explore the city or journey to nearby Szentendre, known for its museums and galleries. While in Budapest, you’ll get a chance to listen to mingle with  Darcey who will take part in a conversation reflecting on her life and career before joining you on the sundeck for cocktail hour and an evening cruise through Budapest.

Alternatively, join Anton Du Beke and his dancing partner Erin Boag on Emerald Waterways’ eight-day Dancing Down the Rhône cruise, departing on April 11. It costs from £2,595.

Sailing from Lyon to Arles, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to interact with the ballroom dancers, who will also perform at an historic venue in Avignon.

You’ll also be able to take part in a dance masterclass on board the Emerald Liberté Star-Ship. Anton and Erin will host a Q&A session, during which you can ask the dancers about their lives, careers and what really goes on behind-the-scenes on Strictly Come Dancing.

Go on….I dare you.
