Newquay airport closes as BA & Eastern Airways suspend flights

All flights from Newquay have been suspended, forcing Cornwall Airport to temporarily close.

British Airways won’t resume its flights from Newquay to London Heathrow until 12 February while Eastern Airways has suspended its flights from Newquay to Leeds-Bradford and Manchester until the same date.

Aer Lingus and Ryanair are expected to restart flights from Cornwall Airport towards the end of the March, at the beginning of the summer flying schedule.

A statement on the airport’s website says the information of flight suspensions is subject to change.
