Norwegian, Oceania & Regent cancel all cruises until May

Norwegian, Oceania and Regent Seven Seas have cancelled all cruises until May.

If you’re affected by any of the above cancellations you should contact your travel agent or the cruise line for more information.

In a statement on its website, the parent company NCL says: “We are committed to taking all appropriate steps and actions to combat the spread of Covid-19 and are working closely and in partnership with local, state, federal and global agencies.

“Whilst this may result in additional future changes, please know our teams are working around the clock to do what is right by our guests and travel partners. We continue to monitor this situation closely and will provide additional updates as they are available.”

Will I get a refund for my cancelled Norweigan, Oceania or Regent cruise?

Yes. You are entitled to a full refund for any cancelled cruise but each of the cruise lines has a different refund method. Each one is explained below.



How do I get a refund for my NCL cruise?

NCL says you’ll be automatically refunded to your original form of payment by 22 February.

You’ll also get a 10% off coupon automatically added to your account by 20 January. You can use this for any future NCL cruise departing before the end of 2022.

If you paid for your cancelled cruise with Future Cruise Credit this will be reapplied to your Latitudes account within seven days.

How do I get a refund for my cancelled Oceania cruise?

Oceania says this will be applied automatically to the original method of payment, but you might have to wait up to 60 days.

If you paid by Future Cruise Credit, this will be reissued.

Any travel insurance and ancillary items booked through Oceania will also be refunded, but guests who have already cancelled aren’t entitled to refunds.

Regent Seven Seas refunds

Regent will automatically send you 125% cruise credit if you’d already paid for your cruise in full. If you’d prefer a cash refund you should email

Cash refunds will be issued automatically to those who hadn’t paid in full.

All refund requests will be processed within 60 days.
