P&O Cruises launches winter 2022 programme, with new ship Arvia on sale for first time

P&O Cruises has put on sale voyages on its new ship Arvia for the first time, offering a series of Canary Islands and Caribbean fly-cruises.

The Arvia cruises are included in P&O’s new winter 2022/23 programme, on sale from today, with time-limited booking offers.

Arvia’s 14-night Canary Islands maiden voyage, departing from and returning to Southampton, is followed by a special Canary Islands Christmas and New Year cruise.

This will be followed by a season of seven and 14-night Caribbean fly-cruises from Barbados and Antigua.

Arvia’s Caribbean cruises include an overnight call in Barbados and La Romana in the Dominican Republic – a maiden port of call for P&O Cruises – and Curaçao, Martinique, St Kitts, St Lucia and St Maarten.

In a P&O Cruises first, winter sun Canary Islands fly-cruises from Tenerife will be available from 2022. Azura will offer two alternating seven-night cruises which can be combined to create a 14-night holiday.

A 14-night cruise on Azura starts at £879, vvisiting Madeira, La Palma, Fuerteventura, Tenerife, Madeira, Gran Canaria and Lanzarote. Onboard spending money is included in bookings made by 1 June, 2021.

P&O Cruises winter 2022

Iona, Arvia’s sister ship which joins the P&O Cruises fleet this summer, will sail a winter ‘22 season of Spain, Portugal and Canary Islands holidays. Cruises will include overnight calls in Lisbon or Barcelona.

P&O Cruises is also offering a world 99-night cruise on Arcadia. Departing 3 January 3 2023, it includes calls in Sydney, Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, Tauranga New Zealand, and Kuala Lumpur (from Port Kelang). Prices start at £9,499.

Aurora’s 65-night circumnavigation of South America will depart on 6 January 2023 and includes two days in Rio de Janeiro, Montevideo, San Antonio and Lima (from Callao). Prices start at £4,999.

Further highlights of the programme, which runs from October 2022 to March 2023, include:

  • Ventura’s short European breaks to Hamburg, Bruges (from Zeebrugge) and Amsterdam plus ex-UK Caribbean holidays
  • Fly-Caribbean holidays on P&O Cruises flagship Britannia.
