New adult-only cruise line Virgin Voyages has started selling Mediterranean cruises on its third ship, to be called Resilient Lady.
The shiny new ship will be based in the Athens port of Piraeus and will offer week-long cruises from August 2022.
Virgin Voyages only launched last year with the promise that it would offer cruises with a younger vibe for people in their 30s to 60s. So far it has yet to set sail due to the pandemic.
Its newest ship Resilient Lady will offer two itineraries: a Greek island-hopping cruise including Santorini, Rhodes, Crete and an overnight stay in Mykonos (Virgin is going for the party crowd after all); and an Adriatic cruise including a 2am departure from Dubrovnik and calls at Kotor in Montenegro, Corfu, and Argostoli on the Greek island of Kefalonia.
You’ll get 10% off if you book before 31 March, plus a further 10% reduction if you pay in full when you book.
Valiant Lady is also due to sail around the Mediterranean next year. It will offer three itineraries from Barcelona in 2022.
The cruise line is giving away Caribbean cruises to 1,000 people nominated by members of the public for their support over the past year. To nominate someone for a free cruise, you need to get your skates on and send a video to Virgin by 16 March. Pssst…you can’t nominate yourself. Just sayin’.
